‘WE WILL SHOW RESPECT TO EVERYONE AT ALL TIMES’
The Almondbury Way summarises the core principles of our school.
We will use a pleasant, quiet, and polite voice when speaking to each other.
If we have nothing nice to say we won’t say anything.
We will all play our part in allowing students to learn and teachers to teach.
We will arrive on time to school and lessons.
We will be prepared and ready to learn and teach at the start of every lesson.
We will follow our school's classroom expectations and sanctions.
We will help each other when suitable.
We will all be responsible for keeping our school clean and tidy.
We will always put litter in the bins.
We will be responsible for keeping our toilets clean and tidy.
We will alert the office staff with any problems.
We will take care of our displays and exhibitions.
Our classrooms and workrooms are important to us and we will care for our equipment and furniture.
We will all keep to the left on the corridors and on the stairs.
We will walk and be sensible around school at all times.
We will represent our school community by wearing our uniform to, from and in school.
We will show respect and be polite to our surrounding community at all times.
